Gathering Voices is a community oral history project of over 50 interviews with young adults raised in gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, and queer families.

Using our own words and voices, we're telling our history.

Growing up before gay marriage, co-parent adoption, and anti-discrimination laws, adult children of gay parents know that the words we share publicly carry a lot of weight. Having been spoken for and spoken about, the very act of truthful speaking, becomes justice.

This is about narrative with grit and contradiction and complexity.
